1st Question: A friend of mine just bought Guildwars and he'll of course will start in the area it takes him too by default. Is there a way he can come to the area I am at or does he have to do what I did and then come too Old Achleon? If not is there a way I can goto him ? Or does he have to go through what I did to goto post ?

2nd Question: If the above doesn't work, I may have to create a new char. If and when I do this, do I remain in the guild that was created or do I have to rejoin the guild for the new char ?

1. In the original Guild Wars (now usually referred to as Prophecies) all characters start in the beginner area called pre-searing. You cannot return to this area as when you enter the Academy and go to post-searing, two years have passed when the game picks up. Time travel is not allowed.

2. All characters on the same account automatically belong to the same guild.
